 (Tommy Tucker) to retire the batter, Artie Clarke (OUT 1)

1B then shot the sphere to the C (Charlie Ganzel) at the plate in time to tag the runner from third, Jerry Denny (OUT 2)

Behind Denny was the runner from second, Dude Esterbrook, on all fours scrambling for the plate. All the C had to do was to touch Esterbrook

John Peltz (BR4) is the batter. He knocked up a pop fly, which fell between shortstop and third base. SS (Marr Phillips) let it drop and then

caught it on the short bound. Peltz ran to first base and the men on the bases stood around like bumps on a log.

2B then whirled and snapped a throw to the SS (Bill Greenwood) who doubled off the runner caught off second, Rasty Wright (OUT 2)

Jack O'Brien (PH4) is the batter. He drove a liner straight at the 2B (Bill Higgins) and it looked like the ball would go through or knock down the

lively little second baseman, but he caught it (OUT 1)

2B then threw to the 1B (Ed Cartwright) to double off the runner from that station, Denny Lyons (OUT 2)

1B then sent the ball like a shot to the C (John Munyan) at the plate, who put out the runner from third, Joe Kappel, with a nifty tag (OUT 3).

[Note: Starting catcher Jake Wells was overcome by heat in the 4th and Munyan caught the rest of the game.]

grabbed it then threw to the C (Duke Farrell) to force the runner from third, Ben Sanders (OUT 1)

C fired to the 3B (Jack Boyle) to force the runner from second, Mike Griffin (OUT 2)

3B then whipped the orb to the 2B who forced the racing runner from first, Billy Shindle (OUT 3)
