Everett Mills (BL1) is the batter. He hit a hot liner to the 3B, Levi Meyerle, who snared the ball in (OUT 1)

3B then whipped the ball over to the 2B, Jimmy Wood, who toed the middle station to double off the runner there, Davy Force (OUT 2)

2B spun and tossed over to the 1B, Jim Devlin, who touched the bag before the runner, George Hall, could reclaim his spot (OUT 3)

George Zettlein (CH2) is the batter. He struck ineffectually three times. The C, Tom Miller, held the third strike then (OUT 1), pretended to drop it,

and as the runner from second, John Peters, ran to third, and the runner from third,

John Glenn, ran thinking it a force, the C tossed the ball to the 3B, Bill Hague, and both were touched off their bases by the 3B, (OUTS 2 & 3)
