On March 10th 2007 Frank Vaccaro FOUND 2 NEW TRIPLE PLAYS (6/19/1884 & 6/30/1887) including the first ever Union Association TP.

On May 28th Chuck Rosciam furnished complete information on the TP turned by Minnesota on 5/27/2006 vs. Seattle
Frank Hamilton provided complete information for the TP on 5/14/2006 (White Sox @ Twins).
On September 26th Ron Selter submitted complete information on five TP's (9/22/1906, 9/3/1908, 5/20/1911, 7/16/1911 & 7/28/1914) plus additional information on two more (8/18/1903 & 7/7/1920), which reduced the Need More Data list to 31.
Richard Hershberger, on September 12th, provided information to complete nine triple plays (7/26/1882, 6/13/1885, 8/14/1886, 8/31/1886, 7/7/1888, 8/5/1889, 7/21/1892, 5/20/1914, and 5/26/1915). The "Need Data" list now stands at 36.
John Schwartz, on September 6th, submitted complete information for the TP of 6/15/1890, which reduced the TP's needing data to 45.
Don Luce, on September 6th, provided complete information for the TP of 5/14/1881, cutting the need data list down to 46.
On September 6th Bob Richardson filled-in all of the missing data for the TP on 5/12/1881, leaving just 47 TP's needing data.
Frank Hamilton, on September 5th, found complete information for the TP on 8/7/1901, which reduced the needed data list to 48.
Frank Hamilton, on August 26th, discovered complete information for the TP on 8/23/1903, which lowered the list to 49 needing data.
On August 21 John Schwartz provided additional information for the TP on 8/26/1882.
Frank Hamilton, on August 18th, provided corrected information on 3 TP's which reduced the needed list to 50.
Frank Hamilton, on August 14th, FOUND A NEW TRIPLE PLAY previously unknown. Using SABR's microfilm for the Sporting Life, Frank identified a TP turned by Baltimore (AA) against Cincinnati on 5/21/1887 with complete information.
Bob Richardson on August 11th submitted complete information for 2 TP's (8/5/1880 and 6/4/1884), reducing the needed list to 53.
On August 11th John Schwartz provided additional information for the TP on 6/11/1885 and complete data for the TP on 6/13/1895.
John Schwartz submitted "inning/score" data on July 25th for the TP on 9/7/1886 and complete information for the one on 8/18/1894, making the needed count 56.
July 17th John Schwartz provided complete information on two TP's from the New York Tribune (6/11/1891 and 6/15/1891) cutting our list down to 57
Bob Richardson on July 12th submitted full information from the Worcester Gazette on two TP's (9/15/1881 and 6/9/1882) reducing the list of needed to 59.
On July 10th Bob Richardson sent in confirming information on three TP's (7/31/1884, 6/15/1887 and 6/14/1890).
On July 4th Bob Richardson provided complete information on two TP's (5/30/1924 and 5/5/1929) making the needing data list at 61. John Schwartz provided information on the questionable 5/25/1898 TP indicating that there was no TP.
Frank Hamilton on June 27th completed the information on one more triple play for 6/29/1894. The magic number is now 63.
On June 26 John Schwartz verified that there was no TP on 4/16/1892. He added data to the TP of 6/29/1894 and provided complete information for the one on 7/30/1897. The data needed number is now 64.
On June 20 John Schwartz cleared one TP from the list (4/24/1888), verified specific information on a second (7/13/1890) and added/clarified data to a third (7/12/1884). Our needing data count now stands at 66.
On June 17th Cliff Blau provided information on seven triple plays, four of which were complete data. This makes the number of TP's needing data to 67.
Frank Hamilton, on June 18th,
FOUND A NEW TRIPLE PLAY previously unknown. Using SABR's microfilm for the NY Clipper for 1880, Frank identified a TP turned by Worchester against Providence on 5/7/1880 with complete information.
On June 12th Cliff Blau sent in information on six triple plays, five of which were complete data. John Schwartz provided complete information on three games plus some data on one more. Bob Richardson submitted complete information on three triple plays. This brings down the number of triple plays needing more information to 71.
On June 5th John Schwartz provided information on 2 TP's (6/29/1876 & 7/14/1877). Richard Topp provided the pitch count on the 5/13/1951 TP.
Since posting the announcement of this website on SABR-L on 5/19/05, four Members have provided valuable information: Clifford Blau added missing data on 10 TP's; Wayne McElreavy added/corrected data on 3 TP's; Ed Hartig identified two additional TP's not on the list; and Stew Thornley corrected data on a TP.
